It shouldn’t have been this messy. But here we are.
Princess Beatrice and Eugenie aren’t accused of anything. Not directly. They have nothing to do with their father’s latest controversies, yet they’re paying the price. According to The Royalist Substack, Prince William has reportedly barred them from Peter Phillips’ June 6 wedding. They had even RSVPed yes. It doesn’t matter anymore.
It’s not just a wedding snub. They’ve been scrubbed from Royal Ascot too, arriving mid-June. The Sunday Times suggests fresh investigations into Andrew’s alleged inappropriate behavior in 2002 have triggered the exclusion.
A grim victory for the Prince of Wales? Perhaps. The Royalist thinks so. William apparently blames King Charles for “showing solidarity” with the girls while Andrew’s Epstein ties grew uglier, dragging their mother Sarah Ferguson into the muck too. Leaving them humiliated, all over again, feels like the goal now.
William was reportedly furious back in December 2025 over the Christmas walk at Sandringham. Naughty But Nice claimed the father and son were at war. Letting the sisters walk there created more exposure, more eyes on the Epstein link.
“Charles doesn’t like being told,” a source said. “This became about authority. He made the calling it despite William’s objection.”
There has always been a fracture here. The Daily Beast reported in September 2026 that William’s stance was simple. Cut Andrew off completely. Why would a sex offender sit at the royal table?
“Just cut Andrew off,” William reportedly said.
Charles wanted Christian forgiveness. William wanted damage control. Charles let Andrew back in. Now, with Andrew and Ferguson exiled, the collateral damage targets shift to the daughters.
With both the parents sidelined, who is left for William to punish? The girls, naturally. His moves make one thing clear.
Keep them far from the palace.
What remains of their role, now stripped of context and comfort, is just silence.
